We’re currently drawing up specs for electronics for the timer from Sliders.  Thermalized Plastics, maker of the definitive Sliders’ timer kit is consulting on the project.

If these electronics for the original Timer are accurate I will buy one immediately!!!! I even have Thermal’s Timer kit to put it in.

I have a written run through of screen accurate details of what the displays do if required.

What is happening with the Sliders Timer boards? It’s been about a year since my last enquiry.

Peter, if you’d like to contract with us to do a Sliders timer board for you, just shoot us an e-mail.

        dear lightbenders,
I am interested in the sliders original timer board. i would like to know how it arrives? is it a pre prepared board, or a self built kit with instructions. and of course how much will it cost? and how long will it take to send me one?

        thanks,
        michael

Did you ever create an original Sliders timer board? And if so, are they still available for sale / to order?

  4. Martin Valella says:

I know the Blade Runner blimp was a really involved project. Does Jason have any plans for a kit of the blimp?

Hello. I would love to find out anymore information you guys have regarding these circuit boards. Thanks!

    • Lightbender says:

      Hi Chris,

The kit consists of two boards that connect together. One is the display board and the other is the keyboard/power board. It is all designed to fit into the Niteglo remote case. It uses the rubber keypad of the remote, and also the white spacer (which you cut to size). The kit also comes with two hi-powered white LEDS for the top and one red LED for above the scarab. OF course, there’s case modifications you will have to do but I have not done that part of it – can’t help you there.

This is all we offer at the moment. I have several RCA remotes (new) if anyone is interested.
